(Nov 4th, 2008, Taipei News) LSC (ticker : 5305) October self  consolidated revenues   was NTD968 million, declined 9.1% compared   to the previous month.

LSC total semiconductor related products together contributed  50.9%  of total revenues. The semiconductor components which include discrete and analog products contributed NTD420 million sales in October, declined 9.3% on a YoY basis and also declined 8.9% on a MoM basis.  The overall industry declined had also impacted the foundry business to decline 24.1% in October compared to the previous month.  Imaging products including CiS and CCM together declined 6.5% and 7.6% on a MoM and YoY basis respectively.

The 4th quarter is still a peak season for mobile handsets which drove the sales of CCM in October to grow 15% compared to the previous month.  LSC will also increase its shipment to Notebook Computers in the 4th quarter, which will drive CCM sales to improve in the 4th quarter on a QoQ basis.
